Products are widely used in heating, air conditioning ,refrigeration ,air purification, telecommunications, electric power and other industries. AIRFLOW covering an existing plant area 10000 square meters of production and R&D center about 1000 square meters. Employees are about 100 people, including R&D staff about 40 people. Ebm-papst India Pvt. Ltd.EBM Werke, later to be known as ebm-papst, was founded in Mulfingen in 1963 by Mr. Gerhard Sturm, a brilliant and pioneering engineer specializing in the design/ manufacture of fans incorporating the external rotor motor concept. The unique features of the fan, its high quality and ebm?s ability to design fans to meet the special needs of other technology-driven companies soon made ebm a market leader, setting new standards in the field of equipment cooling fans with cutting-edge technology. The fast growing and highly successful company soon acquired papst Motoren GmbH & Co. KG in 1992 and the Fan division of Alcatel at Landshut and came to be known as MVL (Motoren Ventilatoren Landshut GmbH. With ebm production facilities coming up in different parts of the world for better synergy, all these production facilities came under one brand name - "ebm-papst". Today ebm-papst Group has over 9800 employees and turnover in excess of one billion Euro. Having become a trendsetter in fan technology in the world market, EBM joined hands with the Kamdar family at Chennai, India, to set up a joint venture in India, ebm Nadi International Pvt. Ltd. with 51% equity by EBM and 49% by the Kamdar family. The state-of-the-art manufacturing facility was inaugurated by the Former President of India Sri R. Venkataraman on 27rd March 1996. The sales soon grew exponentially catering to the needs of Indian companies as well as multinationals located in India. With the continued and active support of ebm-papst, there is constant upgradation of the manufacturing facilities and staff members are trained to ensure that the quality of fans produced at ebm Nadi is at par with those produced by other factories of ebm papst in the rest of the world. Currently, more than 130 employees in EBM-Nadi India are producing fans with passionate, enthusiasm, striving to create application solutions for an extremely wide variety of industries. Milestones

• 1979: Development of the first compact fan in EC technology, still referred to as non-commutator DC motors at the time.
• 1992: Acquisition of PAPST Motoren GmbH in St. Georgen, in Germany's Black Forest region.
• 1997: Purchase of the Landshut plant from ALCATEL - renamed Motoren Ventilatoren Landshut GmbH (mvl).
• 1998: Development of the first energy saving centrifugal and axial fans with integrated electronics. This development is the basis for products such as the ebm-papst EC fans, introduced to the market over the next several years.
• 2003: The three companies are renamed ebm-papst Mulfingen, ebm-papst St. Georgen and ebm-papst Landshut.
• 2006: ebm-papst is going green - every newly developed product is to be more efficient than its predecessor model. Construction of the energy-independent factory for energy saving fans begins in Mulfingen-Hollenbach.
• 2007: ebm-papst exceeds the one billion EUR turnover threshold. Gerhard Sturm is appointed Chairman of the Advisory Board.
• 2008: For the first time, ebm-papst has more than 10,000 employees. All Group Managing Directors are no
